Founded in 2017, Soulful Silverback is a narrative about tribulation and success. Our mission is to inspire everyone who is wrestling with the tougher questions in life to be their most authentic selves.
Soulful Silverback® is aiming to be the United States’ top premium streetwear brand in 5 years. Through our quality product designs, we are expanding the brand based on consumer insight into the increased affinity for streetwear. This brand approach encourages inclusive conversations, raises awareness about social issues, and sparks a movement for change that ultimately provides freedoms for disenfranchised and marginalized communities.
Our spring collection is inspired by a piece written by our founder about James Baldwin and freedom. The designs are intended to empower buyers to express themselves freely.

The Soulful Silverback® brand is about my parents, Madeline and Neville. Mom is a soulful Brooklyn native with Puerto Rican roots. Dad is a hardworking Grenadian with a steely resolve. Together, they reflect the duality of mankind.
At the Silverback, I write to give voice to the Black millennial experience in the 21st century, to develop a community united in understanding and love, and to provide a vision of political, economic, and social freedom for the Black community. All Silverback Apparel funds the creation and development of these evocative stories.
